Chateau Pekin Film Synopsis:
Three main characters move between France and China: a Chinese businesswoman, a French oenologist who has settled in China, and a young sommelier. The film considers the relationship between the Chinese and the French when it comes to wine and, more generally, the challenge of conveying a relationship to nature and to time beyond cultural differences.

Gérard Colin, a Bordeaux oenologist who has been living in China for 20 years, has built several turnkey vineyards for Chinese and foreign billionaires, and tries to pass on his knowledge to Chinese people.
Ms Tsao, a Chinese businesswoman who has made a fortune in the tea, tobacco and alcohol trade, dreams of building an organic vineyard in her home region of Yunnan. We discover a distinguished and curious woman, far from the caricatural image of the Chinese nouveau riche.
Jack Cheung is a young Chinese sommelier who works for a Hong Kong wine collector. His background enables to decipher the Chinese passion for wine and offers an insight into the complexity of Chinese taste.
